New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan made a grand comeback on the small screen today with the third season of his issue based show 'Satyamev Jayate'. The actor on the maiden episode of an all new season discussed a topic that is very close to all of us- Sportsand its importance.
With no mention to 'cricket' the premiere episode emphasized on how sports leads to a holistic development of a human being and why it is important for children of all ranks of society to indulge in sports.
The episode featured young achievers who shared their inspirational stories during the show. The most inspiring stories were that of a young footballer and nine-year-old golfer Shubham Jaglan.
Commonwealth gold medalist wrestlers Babita Kumari and Geeta Kumari, born in a remote village of Haryana were also among the several guests on the show.
Besides the young sportspersons, cricket legend Kapil Dev and stylish batsman Yuvraj Singh also made their presence felt on the show. The show concluded with ace badminton player Saina Nehwal's appearance.
Several sportspersons including legendary cricketer Sachin tendulkar took to Twitter to share their views about the show. Have a look:
